Curve balls are unexpected, unpleasant life events that throw you off balance. They bring up emotions in you that you’d rather not feel. What can you do? Choose to see your curve balls as unlimited potential disguised as chaos. The secret to revealing the magic and miracles in the curves is in how you respond to chase. “Curve Ball Check-Ups: The Grindbook” came out of an event in May 2025 that helped me to remember this principle.
My new mattress was delivered to the bottom of a staircase. It was too heavy for me to complete the delivery by myself. Initially, I couldn’t find anyone to help me, and it looked like it was going to be left outside overnight. I was upset, but my instinct was to channel my upset into finding a solution. At the very last second before the moving company I called to help arrived, someone volunteered to help me—for free. Almost immediately after everything settled, I started to receive the information for “Curve Ball Check-Ups: The Grindbook.” That’s when it dawned on me that I wouldn’t be receiving the downloads if I had not kept my cool.
“Curve Ball Check-Ups: The Grindbook” is a guided journal that is divided into twelve 7-day cycles. On Days 1 to 6, follow the prompts on each page to process one of the chaotic events that occurred on each of those 6 days. What happened? How did you react? What emotions did you feel? What was the outcome? Are you comfortable with the outcome?
On Day 7, you get to review the events of the past 6 days and identify adjustments that you can make to improve your outcomes. It can be as simple as setting an intention to take 3 deep breaths the next time someone asks you an “annoying” question.
In just a few minutes each day, you will shift your perspective and begin to access your magic and miracles.
It won’t be very long before you begin to see chaos as opportunity.
